MEMORIAL PARKS
Over a period of four years, a memorial park with
two locations asked me to help with their outgoing
communications. Before this project I usually spent
time in these kinds of places attending funerals or
memorials, or to visit a friend's or relative's marker
of some sort.
I found that, in some ways, these environments
echo the grand estates of Europe and the East Coast,
some of which have been turned into parks of another sort.
The architecture and landscapes in these parks are
designed to be soothing, lush, ordered, and classically
beautiful, representing stable, unchanging environments.
